In March, I had the great honor of leading a writing workshop in Morocco with Deep Travel Workshops. It was an amazing journey, and the words that arose from my students' notebooks were vivid and alive and utterly astonishing. Now, a few months later, Deep Travel is launching an anthology, and they've asked me to contribute a piece of writing that takes place in one of their workshop locations. I chose Spain--I'll be reading a poem that was published some years ago in Inkwell Journal, one of the many wonderful, legendary literary journals that are now only in the past. So I'm delighted this poem (which, I'll admit, is a bit on the sexy side), will get a new life.
Please come to the anthology launch! There will be bites and drinks, and it will be a lively, illuminating evening.
